Physical Standard TA Army Recruitment 2020
Height, Weight & Chest
The measurement of height, weight, and chest is the same for the candidates of all the states of India. It has the same physical measurements for all trades as follows.

Educational Qualification TA Army Bharti Rally 2020
- Soldier General Duty ( GD ): 10th/Metric class should pass with a minimum of 45% marks. And there should be 33 marks in every subject
- Soldier Clerk: 10 + 2 / Intermediate exam should be passed with a minimum of 60% marks from any subject (Art, Commerce, Science). And it is mandatory to have 50 marks in each subject.
- Technical: 12th/ Intermediate Exam pass with maths, physics, and chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks. And it is mandatory to have 40 marks in every subject.
- Soldier Tradesmen: 8th/10th should be a simple pass.
Physical Fitness Recruitment For Territorial Army 2020
There are physical tests in the territorial army like the regular army. In which 1600 meters of run, pull-ups, zig-zag balance and 9-fit ditch have to jump. After passing all these physical tests, the candidate has a medical test. Which is like this.
1.6 mile Running: First of all, the candidate has to complete a 1600 meter run. The candidate gets a chance to go to the next stage only after passing it. This race is in two groups.
- Groups I – 5 Min 30 Sec – 60 Marks
- Group II – 5 Min 30 Sec to 5 Min 45 – 40 Marks
Pull-Up: The candidate has to put 10 pull-ups in it like the regular army. It is necessary to have a minimum of 6 pull-ups to pass. Different numbers are given on each pull-up. Which is like this.
- 10 Pull-Ups – 40 Marks
- 09 Pull-ups – 33 Marks
- 08 Pull-ups – 27 Marks
- 07 Pull-ups – 21 Marks
- 06 Pull-ups – 16 Marks
- 06 Pull-ups – Fail
Balancing Beam ( Zig-Zag Balance ): The candidate must also pass this step. On this thin strip, candidates walk with the balance. No marks are awarded for passing it.
9 Feet Ditch: The candidate must also pass this step. In this 9 feet ditch has to jump. No marks are awarded for passing it.
Medical Exam/Test of TA Rally Bharti
After passing the physical fitness test, the candidate has a medical examination. All the organs of the body are examined in this medical exam by army doctors. And the candidates who pass this test are written examinations.
Written Test for Territorial Army Recruitment 2020
According to Notification of Territorial Army, 2020-21 candidates who have passed the physical and medical examination are called for the written examination. Merit is made according to the total vacancies of the candidates who pass this examination.
TA Army Bharti Zone
The recruitment of all states has been divided into four zones for the territorial army. In which different states have been kept in each zone. A candidate from one zone cannot go to the TA recruitment rally of another zone. Here you can know which zone is in which state.
- TA Bharti Zone I: The state of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab and the Union Territory of Delhi and Chandigarh.
- TA Bharti Zone II: The state of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Uttarakhand.
- Zone III: The state of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Sikkim, West Bengal, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and UT of Andaman & Nicobar Island.
- Zone IV: The state of Andhra Pradesh, Gujrat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa and Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep, and Pondicherry.
